Mayo Garlic Roll Recipe

How to Make Mayo Garlic Roll - Recipe

Ingredients

  • Chicken 300 gm (boneless)
  • Yogurt 2 tbsp
  • Cream 2 tbsp
  • Ginger/garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Green chilli paste 2 tbsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Raw papaya paste 2 tbsp
  • For Parathas:
  • White flour 2 cups
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required
  • For Sauce:
  • Cream 1/2 cup
  • Mayonnaise 1/2 cup
  • Garlic 2 tbsp ( chopped)
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • For Garnishing:
  • Lettuce & tomatoes as required

Cooking Method


  1. Cut chicken into small pieces and put them in a bowl.
  2. Mix in black pepper, salt, ginger/garlic paste,green chilies,papaya, cream and yogurt.
  3. Heat 2 tbsp oil in frying pan.
  4. Add chicken mixture and cook on low flame.
  5. When chicken becomes tender, increase the flame and fry.
  6. To make parathas ; add 1/4 tsp salt ans 2 tbsp oil in flour.
  7. Knead into soft dough.
  8. Make balls from this dough and without applying any dry flour roll out into ' rotis '.
  9. Heat oil in wok and fry them.
  10. To make mayo sauce, mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
  11. Keep chicken mixture in the middle of ' parathas ' then put mayo sauce on top and place tomatoes and lettuce leaves on top.
  12. Roll them up and serve with chutney/sauce.
