Motton Handi Recipe



    Ingredients


    • Mutton ½ kg
    • Tomatoes ½ kg (finely sliced)
    • Coriander 1 bunch (finely sliced)
    • Oil 1 cup
    • Onions 2 (crushed)
    • Lemons 3
    • Green chilies 4 (finely sliced)
    • Turmeric 1 tsp (powder)
    • Black pepper 1 tsp (crushed)
    • White cumin 1 tsp (roasted and crushed)
    • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp (paste)
    • Red chili 1 tbsp (powder)
    • Ginger 2 tbsp (sliced ginger)
    • Salt to taste

    Cooking Methods

    In a handi, add mutton, finely sliced tomatoes, onions, turmeric powder, red chili powder, ginger garlic paste, salt and cook till mutton tender.
    When mutton is tender and water dries, add black pepper, white cumin, green chilies and oil. 
    Add lemon juice, fresh coriander, ginger and mix for a while.
    Handi Gosht is ready to serve.
